Principal's Report
Dear Parents,
We are halfway through another school term, and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly the school weeks pass by! School life is busy again with so many activities happening each week.
A huge thank you to all involved in the organisation of the St Patrick’s Trivia Night which was held on Friday evening. The evening was a great success, with lots of positive feedback from the community members that attended the evening. The auction items were certainly a highlight of the evening. Thank you to all who attended the evening or contributed to the auction items. Your ongoing support of our school is greatly appreciated.
Congratulations to our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students who have been busily preparing for the Public Speaking competition. All of our students are to be commended for the time and effort they have put into their speeches. Congratulations to Indi, Lachlan H, Christyne, Riley, Abigail, Charlotte, Sophie and Gracie who have all been selected to go through to the Interschool Public Speaking competition against McAuley Catholic Central School representatives on Tuesday 30th August. A special mention to Garvita, Corby and Eliza who also presented excellent speeches and narrowly missed out on selection.

We have received some wonderful affirmations and positive comments from the contingent of delegates from the Catholic Education Commission (CEC) who visited our school 2 weeks ago. A special thank you to all the staff for their support in helping the visit run so smoothly. The CEC have sent a beautiful ‘Lady Palm’ plant for our front foyer area as a thank you gift for the wonderful welcome and hospitality they received on the day, which has been very much appreciated.
Our St Patrick’s School Street stall is being held next Thursday 1st September through to Saturday 3rd September. All donation of cooking and saleable items are very much appreciated.
Have a great week,
Christine Baron
