Spirituality Day

This spiritual formation was an opportunity for all to deepen their connection with God and embrace the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Holy Spirit is a source of inspiration, guidance, and strength. It is through the Holy Spirit that Christians receive wisdom, discernment, and the grace to navigate the challenges and decisions in our lives.
Lord,
By the light of the Holy Spirit
You have taught the hearts of your faithful.
In the same Holy Spirit
Help us to relish what is right
And always rejoice in your consolation.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.”

Bernard Bass Harrington – ‘In Loving Memory’
We, at St Patrick’s School were fortunate to make new friends in Bernie Harrington and his family in last few years. We were touched by Bernie’s generosity when he made a substantial donation along with his old school friend Raymond Young to his former primary school. We are truly grateful for this gesture and the opportunity to meet and get to know Bernie and his family.
On Monday last, Bernie was farewelled in his beloved Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, where he worshipped for many years. This was a beautiful family celebration with many memories shared. When Bernie visited last, he was presented with a St Patrick’s Cross as a thank you gift. Bernie’s family placed this cross on his casket.
Bernie was remembered as a man who displayed the qualities of loyalty, respect, gratitude, love and a person who bought great joy into the lives of his family. Throughout his life Bernie was a man of integrity, honour, fairness and a man of great faith.
The St Patrick’s School community sends our deepest sympathy to the Harrington family. We have been blessed to know Bernie and his family.
